D.C. Metropolitan Police Department 60th Presidential Inauguration for Invited Members

In DC Metropolitan Police tradition, a special purpose badge will be commissioned for wear in commemoration of the Inauguration of the President of the United States. This badge is unique to previous Inaugural badges and exclusively designed for MPD.

In appreciation of the support your agency is providing to MPD for the Inaugural events, Chief Pam Smith is making available to your members the opportunity to purchase the special purpose badge/coin/pin set honoring the 2025 Inauguration.

Featured on the badge is the United States Capitol, beautifully raised in 3D detail, and the U.S. Seal, along with red, white and blue U.S. flag banners.

A portion of proceeds from each sale benefits DC Crime Solvers.

Minting & Delivery Schedule

Items will be shipped once the Chief of the MPD declares the wearing period for the badges is over. Historically, the wearing period ends on January 31st.
